It's tragic that such a talented ambient artist should die so young, I've listened to the whole of her oeuvre and 'The Last Voices' strikes me as the best, both warm and creepy, a painting of a summer's day with a danger lurking unseen.
Favorite track: The Last Voices.
A rather mysterious album, 'The Last Voices' contained no information, no titles (other than the sole main title), and three separate versions all made from the same (deleted or overwritten) source material. I'm not certain whether it was finished, complete, or just 3 alternate versions of the same album. Regardless, it is presented here in full, available for the first time exclusively digitally.

pure essence of travel. transitioning from crowds in public centres to extended dream sequences reminiscent of watching everything pass by, looking out the window of a train. everything flows perfectly and each overlapping moment complements another.
i first listened to this in may, during a trip in rural quebec. i played it every day while driving by towering rock structures and minuscule, isolated communities. i still listen almost every day now as well.
best album of the year by far ethan van iderstine
